Elite Mobile ****! Don't fall for it!!

An agent claiming she was from elite Mobile contacted me today "on behalf of Cell C" saying as a loyal customer I qualify for a discount on my cell c package. She had all my details including my ID number and the type of data package that I am on. She insisted for my banking details. When I said I'm not comfortable giving it to her she said that I had already confirmed that my ID number was correct and that is much more important than banking details. She proceeded to tell me the whole process saying I qualified for a R149 discount but in the same sentence saying my debit order amount will be R149. When I told her I didn't understand she said got upset with me and a bit rude and that I wouldn't be paying anything over and above my initial monthly fee for my cell phone package. I then contacted Cell C and informed them of what I was told and they said it is probably a **** as they would never get a 3rd party to discuss such matters. I contacted Elite Mobile (different number as my first call I received from them) and they are unaware of such and they work on behalf of Vodacom. This is clearly a **** and needs to be sorted out. A team leader from a elite Mobile said he would give me feedback. I expect that feedback as soon as possible. Don't answers these calls whatever you do!!
