Elite Mobile putting me in arreas
Hello Peter

a year ago, a company called Elite Mobile, called me promoting their 'TOP UP' product. they informed me that i'll be paying something like R49 for R59 airtime. I took the offer. two months down the line I then lost my phone, bought a new sim card when I tried to do a sim swap Vodacom told me that I have to do my swim swap through Elite mobile. I struggled to get hold of them, when I did I was told they will fax me papers for swim swap and they never did, until someone got my phone and returned to me. with immediate effect I kept on trying to call them again to cancel the contract, I recall speaking to two consultants who promised to send my request to head office and reassuring me it will be cancelled. I continued to experience debit orders, I then strategically ensured they do not get any money in my account. this year I have been in and out of Standard bank and FNB interviews. standard bank declined me due to credit history. I thought it was a car issue of which you also assisted me when insurance did not want to pay. but only to find out it is this issue of Elite mobile.
they are now telling me that for me to cancel I need to pay an amount of R969.

please help
