Elite Mobile on behalf of Vodacom Horrible phone etiquette
Dear Elite Mobile (on behalf of whomever the poor souls are trying to use your disgustingly rude call centre, in this case Vodacom).
I have now been contacted by your call centre on MULTIPLE occasions, and this madness must now end. I must give you props that you have become clever in phoning from 'Unknown Caller' and not your usual numbers that gets blocked by TrueCaller...very clever and sneaky.
However: To Tyron, the call centre agent who phoned me shortly after 9:45, (I think this is the gentleman's name) . I'm pretty confident this is not his first call to me as his voice sounded very fami****. He went through the usual garbage and after telling him that he has phoned me before and that I do not require any new contracts, he insisted on asking me one more question, being whether I was using a contract or pay-as-you-go option, to which my reply was (in anticipation of his followup questions as asked before), "contract yes, I've got LTE at home and WiFi at work"...then he slammed the phone in my ear without a courtesy "goodbye" or "thank you". Look, I get it, these guys have a horrible job, but a little bit of common decency goes a long way. If you, Tyron, were not so bl**dy rude, next time I'll stay on the line and ask you about your contracts, or your mobile needs, heck even maybe ask you about how your day was, or how you are finding the weather. If you want to be rude to your prospective clients, you must SERIOUSLY rethink your line of work my friend, it's bad practice. I guess you missed the one class about treating your possible clients politely - do an online course, you'll learn A LOT! Then, as for ELITE MOBILE, STOP CALLING ME.
Good Morning,
