Elite Mobile ****ming Old People

If I can give Elite Mobile a -10, I would, because they should not at all get 1 star. They are con artists who trick people, and especially the elderly, into contracts they do not need.

They phoned my 80y old mother to do an upgrade on her data and cell phone contract despite the fact that I explicitly told her not to do. But they were adamant and succeeded in upgrading it.

After a few days she told me about it and I immediate phoned Vodacom and asked them to cancel it. It was cancelled and according to their records when we visited the Vodacom shop end of August to do the upgrade, it was indeed cancelled.

But something told me to go through my mom's banking statements, and there it was: - they took R198 on 1 Jul 2024. - in the first week we cancelled the contract, but despite of the cancellation ... - they took another R198, plus R300 (2x Upgrade fees). She did not receive any phone or rooter or anything!

About Upgrade Fees: according to them when you do online/telephonic upgrades, there are no upgrade fees involved. So, what now???

You **** people and don't care about what they need or how old they are. Law forbid you to write contracts with children under 18, but you are ruthless with old people who can't follow your erratic conversations which is all lies.

You should be ashamed of yourself and should not be aloud to do business at all.

What I can't understand is that you can see that you get such low ratings, but keep on doing everything wrong!!

YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CLIENTS, YOU JUST WANT TO TRICK THEM IN REACHING YOUR TARGETS EVERY MONTH.

Where is the Ombudsman? Why is Vodacom not addressing this matter? Is it because Vodacom also gets what they want?

It is shocking and very disappointing!!!
