Elite Mobile.
Last year December I received a call enquiring if I would like to renew my airtime contract. The caller stated he is calling on behalf of Vodacom to offer me a R2000 Takealot voucher should I renew my contract. I agreed. Subsequently almost 2 months have passed and I did not receive the voucher but my account was deducted for the renewal of the contract. I went to the nearest Vodacom shop to enquire. To my surprise I was informed that it was not Vodacom that was offering the Takealot deal but ELITE MOBILE.!!. I was angry. Had the caller stated he was calling from ELITE Mobile, I would NEVER have renewed my contract or taken them up on their offer of the Takealot voucher based on past experiences with ELITE MOBILE. They had deducted my husband and my accounts previously for almost 2 years without our consent. Well I managed to phone ELITE mobile to enquire about the voucher. They indicated the will be sending it. In March I made another call stating that I want the contract terminated and my monies refunded as I did not receive the voucher. I was told that I cannot get a refund because airtime was provided. ELITE Mobile must be stopped! They are misrepresenting themselves to get contracts. I want all my money back !! They sold me a contract and failed to honour their side of the contract and made false promises .
