Elie Mobile took me for a ride

<p>Two months ago I received a call from Elite Mobile call centre marketing. I was offered a "special" on a Vodacom Tablet WITH 5 GIG DATA at R99.00 per month. I think my reference no was/is - D821945. I specifically asked her to confirm the offer which she did. I then repeat it and asked her again..."do I get a Vodacom Tablet with 5 Gig of data for R99.00 per month" and she confirmed it. Before I end the call I confirmed it with her again after which she again confirm that I will receive a Vodacom Tablet with 5Gig of data for R99.00 per month. I then confirm to accept the offer. After I was not able to connect to the internet via 3G I went to my local Vodacom shop to find out what the problem may be. I was informed that I did not have any data on the Tablet and that the package does not include any data. I asked them to recall the conversation that was recorded and send me a copy as well to confirm my complaint.</p> <p> </p> <p>I then send Elite Mobile an email with all the relevant information. All I received back was confiramtion of my complaint and that they will investigate and keep me informed. I follow this up on a weekly basis and being ignored up to now. Not even threds with the consumer board an HelloPeter got any response from them. </p>
