DO NOT FOLLOW POPI ACT

Firstly, today I've received 7 phone calls from this company, which is quite distracting If i may add. Secondly how in the ever loving hell did they get my number? Thirdly, i called back to speak to a consultant, asked them how they got my number, they asked for my ID number to be removed from the data base, I asked them how the hell they received my ID number in the first place and they told me i was a customer from vodacom database which is a bunch of bull**** because i have a contract with telkom mobile. I asked how they got my details and they quickly back tracked and said it was from a database, I CALL BULL****! i proceeded to ask if they followed the POPI act and the consultant was very quiet, WHO SOLD YOU MY INFORMATION IN THE FIRST PLACE????? REMOVE ME NOW!!!!!!!!
