Dishonest Communication from a Dishonest Company

Received a call from an operator who claimed they are Vodacom. They went over my package I had with Vodacom which they suggested I upgrade for R30 per month. I do currently have a reduced subscription fee with Vodacom which the agent said will still remain should I move over to the new package. I queried this fee and clarified the new fee several times, with the operator confirming what my new monthly fee will be.

As soon as I received by latest bill, my account was double what it normally is. I called Vodacom to confirm the new cost, just to be given another company to phone...Elite Mobile. I have since logged a complaint with them and am waiting on feedback.

I feel that there is two transgressions here by Elite Mobile. Firstly that the amount which I am being billed is not what was agreed on and the Secondly, for impersonating that they are Vodacom which seems very *********.

Reading the reviews on Hello Peter I am quite shocked at the poor rating of this company on HelloPeter.
