Appalling to say the least

Between the 10th and the 14th of March a telesales consultant from Elite Mobile phoned me with regards to a promotion for a Huawei P8 Lite package that they through Vodacom. Since I wanted a second handset at the time I jumped for the deal because it was also priced around R30 less than other service providers.

One month later I still have not received the cellphone or any form of update from this service provider (term used loosely as they are not providing any service) with regards to the delivery of the item. I have made numerous phone calls to them and received little to no assistance from the dedictated customer care consultants. Their go-to response is that my application is still pending :(. Kindly take note that this s not in any way a high end handset, how can its application take longer that a parole application. I have signed up for business packages and high end handsets with other service providers and the applications took less than a day.

I contacted this service provider again today and I was informed that the application is still pending, on top of that the initial offer that i accepted had changed as it is not going to cost around R40 more for the same package. If i did not call I would have not known this extremely material information.

Elite Mobile, as per my conversation with your Samukelisiwe, please make sure that this application is cancelled in its entirety. I have read multiple complaints on Hello Peter, you have a tendency of debiting clients even after the application was cancelled and/or declined. DO NOT debit my account as you have utterly failed to provide me with any service.

Regards,

Vuyi
