DSL Telecoms, can't deliver within specified timelines.

So, I noted that DSL were advertising the Telkom special, I had in mind and gave them a call. Initially spoke to a Nicol, who was helpful until she had received my documents then the attitude turned to arrogance. She convinced me that dealing with DSL would be quicker than standing in a queue and the process would take about 7-10 working days to my receiving the router. I'm now sitting on the 12th day and no nearer a final resolution than I was weeks two weeks ago. Josh tells me that the application is sitting with Telkom, well if that's the case and they can't speed up the process, why not just advise to go to Telkom direct. My previous dealings with Telkom were definitely speedier than DSL.
