Debt Review I did not apply for!

My ex husband app**** for debt review with Debtline 2 months after our divorce was finalized in 2022. Ever since then it shows that I am also under debt review even though I DID NOT apply. I contacted then to assist me to clear my name, but almost every time I contact them I do not get answers. I have tried to clear my name myself, but die credit bureau's says that the debt counsellor must clear my name. HOW can I do that if no one want's to help me?? I can not apply for credit due to this. It is effecting my life badly.....

Our lives are falling apart just because this guy no longer works for Debtline it's not our issue it's the companies, all we want is to live. I got a email last year Dec from them saying they can help with clearance and they gave the amount of how much it will cost but still till today July 2026 no one called or emailed me . Debtline Debt Specialist

Debtline Debt Specialist is everything BUT a specialist, and they don't understand professionalism. It has been a consistent battle to get a response from them. They do not acknowledge your queries, nor do they respond. I have had the unfortunate situation where I needed a debt counselling service. My struggles in getting information, sorting out why I was being harassed by creditors, and not receiving the information I asked for have now been ongoing for what feels like forever. This is probably the most unprofessional company I have EVER come across. PLEASE, if you are in financial trouble and need a debt counselling service, DO NOT use these so-called "specialists." They have no idea what's going on and have ZERO customer care or interest.

Debt Line is the worst debt review company ever, no customer service

Poor service... 8 have been paying for 7 years and my accounts are still not paid up. They promised that it would only be 5 years. Now they started to lapse on some of the payments. They don't pay everyone. So I am receiving calls again from my bank. Worst service ever. Never go with them they never call back. No one to follow up with... No communication but still take ythe full debit order every month.

Debtline terminated service but failed to assist with removal

Company: Debtline Debt counsellor :Bruce Arendse Title: Debt review terminated but no assistance with clearance or removal Review: I app**** for debt review through Debtline on 12 December 2019, as confirmed in my official documentation. The debt review was handled by Bruce Arendse, a registered debt counsellor (NCRDC3377). My application, budget, and fee structure were all formally processed and accepted . 824889_APPROVAL.pdf None Around 2020, the debt review service was terminated. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact both Debtline and the debt counsellor for assistance with a clearance certificate, guidance, or any formal process to remove the debt review status. Unfortunately: I received no proper exit guidance after termination My emails and follow-ups have gone unanswered I was left to resolve the removal of debt review on my own I am now being asked by credit bureaus for documents that the debt counsellor should reasonably assist with The debts linked to this process are closed and/or prescribed, yet my debt review status remains unresolved due to the lack of cooperation and aftercare support from Debtline. Debt review is a serious legal and financial process. Clients should not be abandoned once services are terminated. This experience has caused unnecessary stress, delays, and financial prejudice. I am posting this review in the hope that Debtline will finally engage and assist with formally concluding this matter.
