Avoid Cybersmart. The begging and pleading just isn't worth it.

I signed up for the 25/25 connection with them on Openserve two weeks ago. When the technician installed the ONT, he found a problem on the main line. He said he'd report it. After a week of waiting with no feedback, I sent two messages to them last Friday, asking what's going on. No response. I called them this morning, and after waiting for ages to have my call connected to an agent, I got some song and dance about how they don't know what Openserve is doing, so they can't continue with opening my account, and about how they're in the process of replying to my email (that was half an hour ago). Do yourself a favour and avoid this ISP like the plague. And if you have an option other than Openserve as the carrier, avoid them too. A line problem before you're even hooked up, does not inspire confidence. That shouldn't be surprising - after all, it is Telkom.
