Frustrating Delays and Broken Promises – Avoid ClearAccess
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by ClearAccess. It has been 13 days since I ordered my line, and there is still no resolution in sight. The lack of communication between ClearAccess’ departments and their inability to provide clear updates has made this process incredibly frustrating.
The issue has been escalated multiple times, but all I have received are vague responses indicating delays caused by an “EKR in progress” and the absence of termination from the previous ISP. This explanation has been repeated over several days without any meaningful progress or follow-up.
To make matters worse, I have now been added to the backlog for installations, even though my ISP, Cool Ideas, can see that the ONT is already installed. All I need is the modem, as I already have my own WAN router. I was told this would be resolved in about two days, but even that has not been met. I was promised over the phone that I would receive a call to book the installation either yesterday or today (Saturday), and yet no call has been made.
ClearAccess’ inability to meet their own timelines, along with their poor communication and lack of coordination, is unacceptable. I am left waiting indefinitely for something that could have been resolved much sooner. Reliable service and accountability should be the standard, but ClearAccess has failed to deliver on both. I strongly advise potential customers to look elsewhere for a provider that values their time and trust.
Thank you for taking our call from our customer relations department.
We sincerely apologise for delay as well as any inconvenience caused.
Our support team has confirmed that the installation has been completed successfully and we have informed your ISP that they can proceed with the router installation.
Again, our sincerest apologies for this.
Kind regards,
Clear Access
