Poor service at Chicken Licken Lyttleton
Poor service at Chicken Licken Lyttleton This has happened repeatedly: arriving about 30 minutes before closing with my family, only to be told that sliders are "out of stock." It doesn't appear to be a genuine stock issue, as customers are often turned away because staff want to close. This is extremely disappointing and concerning from a customer perspective. Businesses should serve customers until their advertised closing time. Turning customers away early is not only poor service but also a way of losing sales and customers.

Poor service
Very dissatisfied with the poor service at Chicken Licken Gezina. Ordered and receivedy receipt at 08:57:37 on Thursday 1 October 2026. The order window and pay window staff confirmed I'll receive my order within 4 minutes. But unfortunately I received my order at 09:21. That's more than 20 mins waiting on a single sandwich. All other customers that waited outside for their orders eventually went into the restaurant to go get their orders. Very poor service especially while on Google it mentioned that the restaurant is under new management.

Poor service

Horrible service
So today my Wife and I went to Chicken Licken Ga-rankuwa. We placed our order at 18:04 ( fly thru) and we advised that our food will be ready in 5 minutes. We then parked in the front while we waited for our order. About 10 cars came in, ordered and got their order after us. At 18:34 I decided to go check our order and it was laying there. I asked as to why they didn't bring it and was told we were going to. The food was cold as it has been there for a while . This is really dissapointing given the fact that it was a quiet evening. Service is extremely poor at this store. There were about 6 to 8 people in the store but none of them was interested in bringing our food. I spoke to the Manager Kgomotso and told her about the poor service at the store. They don't care about our time and safety at all. Hopefully this will land in the right hands.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Cold Food & No Meat
Very disappointing experience at Chicken Licken Tsakane. 😡 The service and food were extremely disappointing. Our food was served cold, which is completely unacceptable, especially when you're paying for a meal expecting it to be fresh and hot. To make matters worse, we were told that they didn't have meat available. How does a Chicken Licken outlet run out of the main product customers come there for? It was honestly frustrating and inconvenient. I expected much better from Chicken Licken. Management seriously needs to look into the service, food quality and stock management at this branch. Definitely not an experience I would want to repeat.

Chicken licken dissapoints
Terrible , false information on google as shown 24hrs service. Booked an uber to go and get something to eat 23h00 on 23/09/2026 had a few friends visiting out of the blue. SUPRISE .... closed .... what a frustrating dissapointment as these guyse really like the hot wings. Why not update your hours on google. Waisted money on the ride ,not fair to any customer. Chantel , very dissapointed in the springfield durban outlet.

Chicken too salty, Made us sick
Good day, Yesterday(22/09/2026), I purchased an eight-piece Family Pack from Chicken Licken at Eyethu Mall. When we arrived home, we found that the chicken was extremely salty. We are used to the "hot" option being more salty than spicy, so we added a bottle of SoulFire sauce, which helped improve the taste. Unfortunately, from last night until today, everyone in the household who ate the chicken has been experiencing stomach problems and repeatedly using the bathroom. Please investigate the preparation and handling of food at this branch. Staff should use the correct measurements when adding seasoning and ensure that food is prepared according to the required quality and hygiene standards. We now need to purchase medication because of this experience. This is unacceptable and has caused considerable inconvenience to the entire household. I am particularly disappointed by the service and food quality at some of the Soweto franchises. It sometimes feels as though food is being prepared without enough care for customers. Please take this complaint seriously, investigate the branch, and advise what action will be taken. Chicken Licken, please do better.

Palm spring bad bad service
Palm Springs mall service its bad. I went to drive inn they wanted me to go to parking lot to wait for my order, when i asked why they said if i wait for my order at the window i will make a bad record for them. I wait i will wait for my order at the window so it reflect the true record. They got ****ed at me and started to insult me. They said i should get my money back where i have paid, when the lady i paid to ask for my money it was a story as i swiped for payment. Am really not happy about the stuff.
