A Cell Direct agent called me on 12 October to get me to take out another Telkom contract which I turned down, however, the agent tried to use an ************ technique saying that my phones are Android 9 and I will not have access to any social media as of 1 November 2021. I almost took out another contract under duress, however, I chose to decline so I could investigate further. My phone is Android 11 and therefore I am not affected but the point is that this kind of sale is totally ********* and makes me wonder how many people have actually fallen for this.
