Every time you lie, a fairy dies...

<p>I was due for my upgrade with Telkom Mobile. I received a call (which I thought was from Telkom) and did my upgrade through the person. I was told with my new upgraded contract I would receive 3GIGS of data monthly. For the last 2 weeks, I have believed that was what I had signed up for. I phoned Telkom Mobile to set up a limit and was shocked to hear my phone bill is already at R500. I knew it would increase as this contract is more monthly but in the 6 years I have been with Telkom Mobile, I have never exceeded R350. I asked the lady and it turns out it is 1GIG of data per month and 2GIGS of data for Whatsapp and BBM. I didn't even know BBM still existed! When signing up for the contract I specifically asked, more than once, "So it's 3GIGs of data". For anyone upgrading phones with Telkom, do not go through Cell Direct! I have learned my lesson and will have to deal with my stupidity of trusting Cell Direct for the next 2 years. Please go straight through Telkom. Do not be trusting of Cell Direct! They lie!</p>
