Porting not done 5 weeks later!

Made contact with BitCo on 14/3/2019 about services we wanted (New client - Traffline). Everything was in place (according to paperwork required), so gave notice to current service provider on 1/4/2019 to end service on 30/4/2019. I expressed from the start that we do not want, nor can afford any downtime on our data or voice, and that this must be a smooth transition.

Supp**** the porting documents on 27/3/2019 required by BitCo to port our number from previous service provider and was told that porting takes about 3 weeks. Kyle at BitCo confirmed receipt of the documents on the same day and confirmed that the porting request will be submitted.

By 2/5/2019 when previous service provider de-installed their equipment, our phones went dead and porting was not yet done. I spoke to Kutluano on a previous occasion that confirmed that Kyle does not work with the porting requests anymore. This then tells me that Traffline's porting request was never submitted by BitCo, which is very unprofessional.

Making contact with BitCo is a nightmare, as I have to explain the whole situation to the person who takes my call and never get back to me as promised. The one's who know about the situation is almost never at their desk or "available to take my call". Before deciding to write this on Hello Peter, I even wanted to make contact with Morne Minnaar who is the customer services manager, who answers everyone on Hello Peter, but he was not available to take my call.

According to Precious from BitCo, she said to their technician that our previous service provider has not yet "released" our number so that it can be ported to BitCo. Speaking to Bronwyn from BitCo, it is BitCo's responsibility to continuously and frequently follow up with the previous service provider to release the number, as BitCo is in charge of the porting process.

I phoned the previous service provider who confirmed that they only received a request to release the number for porting on 30/4/2019. 35 DAYS AFTER I SUPP**** THE DOCUMENTS FOR PORTING!

So Traffline had no incoming telephone lines for the whole day of 2/5/2019 and the whole day of 3/5/2019, and currently still does not have an active incoming line.

Seems as if BitCo is in no rush to assist a new customer, even though they slipped up with the porting process, which is now causing an inconvenience to Traffline, with BitCo just pointing fingers...

Good day Warren The porting was sorted as promised, but since 7/5/2019 only two of our 6 extensions work for incoming calls. BitCo's technicians has since been trying this and that, but can't seem to get the 6 extensions to ring at once on an incoming call, as is our business' requirement and was told from the start that it will be possible. Up to date nothing has changed, still only two extensions work for incoming calls and when one of them is engaged, no other phone call comes through. Friday, 10/5/2019 I explained the inconvenience this is causing to Shaldon in an email, to which he rep**** that he understands the frustration behind this, and will advise soonest. As the problem was not yet resolved by 12 noon today, I sent an email to Shaldon requesting to know who his supervisor is, in which I copied Kutluano and Avish, but never received any response from anyone by the end of business. We signed a three year contract with BitCo, which is quite worrisome if this is our experience in the first month.
