DNS setup for entertainment content is blocked through this ISP.

If you are using a DNS service to view overseas content, BITCO does not support it. They use 'double natting' as an excuse, blaming Vumatel. I contacted Vumatel, who confirmed their setup is the same as any other ISP, and if my set up was working through MWEB, through Vumatel, then the issue is with BITCO.

BITCO then made me pay extra for a static public IP address, and to no surprise, it did not work. The support teams attitude is a shrug and meh.

The internet installation is less than a week, and I now submitted my notification to cancel. Thank goodness this is not a contractual agreement!

Projects and sales are good, no surprise there, they need to hustle to get the business. The after-sales support is terrible. Thus two stars instead of one.

I paid for 100 Mbps line upload and download and managed to at the most 40-50 Mbps on a good day this week. I did not even get an opportunity to contact them about this. Speed is pointless if you cannot configure your systems to use the internet properly.

Overall, a week of frustration. I do NOT recommend BitCo.

**UPDATE**

After I reset the router as advised by the support specialist, and set my DNS everything worked. Just like that. No hassle, no follow up calls. It just worked. Just wish this was the case from the first day.

If you do have a DNS setup, request upfront the static public IP configuration.

I retracted my cancellation. Let's see how it goes.
