Continued billing after cancellation of contract
I want to warn new clients who are signing up with BitCo to be aware of their cancellation policy as it seems they will continue billing you while you have canceled your contract, and it seems to fall on deaf ears for people to assist you. I wish I could provide a rating of 0, but this is not an option. After months of back and forth, I just decided to contact FNB to block and reverse all outstanding payments. Customer Service from BitCo called and advised that I would be refunded, with no prevail. Look at an alternative service provider than Bitco!! Useless.

23 Apr 2021, 15:38Good day Mr Hing,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Kindly note that you sent a cancellation request to *** stating that you are moving houses however, you then advised the relevant members who were assisting with your request to please extend the notice period, as you will be moving at a later stage and placed a new order for the new address.
Once the move was confirmed, a cancellation request was not received from you to confirm the move/cancelation of the link thus the cancellation was not processed and the new order was processed accordingly.
Please be advised that as per T’s & C’s, we are not authorized to process any cancellations without the client sending a formal cancellation request to ***. No credits will be passed.
With that being said, a cancellation has been processed with fibre network operator and we have cancelled your account accordingly.
Kind regards,
Jessica Buitendag
