BitCo spam caller supplier

*** / *** / *** on and on and on all day long "this is an important consumer announcement...." then hangs up. at least 30 calls during the week. BitCo will NOT tell me who they sold these numbers too 'because the client is protected by the POPI Act". I have signed up with the useless "National Opt-Out Register" which only covers companies who actually sign up to them and pay to join, so no help there. I have contacted and told every bank, company and person i can think of to REMOVE me from their marketing lists to no avail. So while these SPAM marketers are protected by POPIA it seems I am not.

 Good Morning,

Thank you for taking my call.

Please note as per our discussion these calls originated from a tele-marketing company which makes uses of the Bitco network for Voice Services.

Please can you supply us with the no that is calling you so that we can assist in getting your no on the "Do not Call list".

In compliance with POPIA, I am unable to share your contact details with the responsible party but have been given permission to share their details with you.
I apologize for the inconvenience caused

Regards

Thank you Vanee for your assistance. As requested, she went through the list of spam callers i have been blocking, and found one's that she could send a "Do Not Call" instruction to on my behalf. After years of frustration I feel I'm making some progress towards limiting these spam calls.

I'm not sure how to amend the 1 star to at least a 4, but hope this helps. At least BitCo responded and assisted. Many Thanks
