BFL HOLDING R4500 OF "FREE GIFT" AND MISREPRESENTATION OF TV
BFL Entertainment is refusing to pay out our full R13,000 refund. After their sales staff falsely represented a television order (a direct violation of Section 41 of the CPA), the TV was collected and returned. However, BFL is now trying to ********ly deduct R4,500 from our refund for a tablet that was delivered before the TV and explicitly marketed as a "free gift.", THIS "GIFT" was received way before we got the device and legally a gift you get part of the purchase"Upon collecting the TV, BFL's own appointed courier explicitly stated that the tablet was "cancelled for collection" and refused to take it. BFL ignored our legal emails, moved to WhatsApp, and went as far as falsifying our records by claiming we only paid R11,000—despite our bank-stamped receipt clearly proving a deposit of exactly R13,000. They promised R8,500 would reflect last night, they have ignored my requests to send everything on email, they whatsapp instead. A final demand email has been sent on behalf of the account holder. If the full R13,000 is not paid immediately, we are proceeding with a formal dispute through the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) and escalating the matter to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) for statutory fines under Sections 41, 48, and 51 of the CPA. bare in mind they have sent the wrong proof of payement before of someone else and went on to say R11 000 was what we paid for the device. They still ignore my emails and not acknowldge them at all.

Not a smart tv
My mom was told by a sales agent that the tv she’s getting is a smart tv,however upon arrival(yesterday )I realised it is not a smart tv at all. Read the device book,nothing states that it is a smart tv even the box. We have not installed the tv yet nor used it. I believe a refund is what is needed here.

Negligence and refusal of refund
I'm highly irritated I request a Refund over 15 days ago & I was told it was paid to someone elses account.. High level of negligence didn't verify the account if it's mine now I'm told they waiting for a refund from the other yet it was not my fault they deposited the money in the wrong account after I sent an email with the account details to be used. No one called to check if I had changed the account number. Yet the bank confirmed its not my account.
