Disappointing Service Experience
I've had issues in the past with Bettersure regarding one of my properties. Despite this, I decided to keep another property insured with you for structural cover. I now need to provide my bank with proof of insurance, and I've been waiting approximately two hours for someone to get back to me. Honestly, I find it extremely disappointing that something as simple as obtaining proof of insurance can take this long. The level of service has left me questioning whether I should continue with this insurance policy as well. I would appreciate it if someone could please assist me as soon as possible. I bought my house in 2023 and I insured it with bettersure. In 2024 my geyser burst I claimed and they fixed it with an access of R3000 and a premium of R3something then in 2025 my second gyser burst n they fixed it great, my premium was R600 and the access was R500 then in August 2026 they debited R1206 and again in September so I called and enquired and they say my premium increased double becouse I previously made claims. I'm heart broken I really loved my insurance but charging me soo much because I made a claim means I'm only allowed to pay and not make a claim or else next time they will debit my whole salary

WARNING TO THOSE WITH LESS UNDERSTANDING
after a masive rain storm my gate motor stopped working, beeing with them for 4 years and not having claimed once thought it time to use what i paid for knowing the storm was the reason for the motor not working, after getting the assesor out to see what the problem is the diagnosis was broken main board waited for some time to get a reply of the motor is to old and has reached its end of life(this should not be a thing as i replased most of the parts myself within the last 2 years), and aparently there is no sighns of water damadge(been working in tech for 15 years most water damadged components can only be verified by removing the components from the board where one would find a buildup as water does not always stain the board), so i took it on my own to fix the aparently broken main board, then trusting the assesor to have done a good job aquired this non existing main board from takealot(Apparently these dont get sold anymore as "The motor is to old") turned out if the assesor was in any way aware of the fixing process of centurion motors he would have checked the fuse wich if turned was caked with dried water resedue and was blown "this could have been a 1 min fix" ive now paid on 2 different insurances with them for 4 years no claims to discover the quality of the work provided the other policy can only be tested when i dei and im not keen on testing that - not needed to say im in the market for another insurance
