Disappointed NMI customer
Disappointed NMI customer DR 17839 / Invoice 9536 — Prado BS17DTZN — "The Last Please" - finish paid work by Friday 18 September 2026: Good day I am writing about my 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, registration BS17DTZN, VIN JTEBU25J***, your references DR 17839 and Invoice / Repair Order 9536. I agreed a body and trim scope in writing in February 2026 and paid in advance. Invoice 9536 was R160,000.00. A further R33,030.89 was paid on 18 June 2026 after you stated that as the balance. Documented payments to NMI: R193,030.89. The vehicle has been with you, across two stays, since 10 April 2026. Finish dates you named were missed, including 12 June 2026 and 2 September 2026. I collected incomplete in June because I had to travel. Defects found on the road to Botswana and back were sent to you on WhatsApp with date-stamped photos and video. We met on 10 July, agreed a written list, and I dropped the vehicle back on 20 July. On 4 September a friend arrived to collect it. Because of the inspection, the vehicle never left. I was on that walk-round by WhatsApp video from Angola. Circled items were still open. The next message from you was that the vehicle had gone back for the left-front VPS. There is still no finish date, and no comment on when the other open items will be closed. What I need is simple. Finish the open items at no extra charge, because the job is already paid for. Where something was damaged in your care, including the radio, repair it properly or put a written solution that both sides can accept. Place the ordered windscreen seal in the boot. Do not fit the glass or the seal. Put Friday 18 September 2026 in writing as the collection date. Two documents are attached: the executive brief and the supporting chronology. A Hello Peter complaint is being lodged as an open record. It will stay open for you to respond. I will update it with the actual outcome, good or bad, and close it only when this is closed between both parties. A formal letter of demand is being prepared by my attorney. When it is signed it will come to you and will be mirrored on that same Hello Peter record. You still have the opportunity to finish the work and make good on your integrity. If the vehicle is not ready on Friday 18 September 2026 to a mutually accepted outcome, the next step is public publicity and legal action. All references in the attached document NMI has in Whatsapp calls and emails.

Bad service from NMI Toyota Kuils River
20 DAYS LATER AND I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR LAND CRUISER Our Toyota Land Cruiser was serviced at NMI Toyota Kuils River on 19 August 2026. The owner specifically requested that the vehicle be ready by 15:00 and we were assured that it would be. It wasn't. There were also incorrect contact details on their system/invoice. The service advisor apparently tried to contact us but phoned the wrong number, yet we were made to feel as though the delay was somehow our fault because they could not reach us. More importantly, we were informed that the Land Cruiser needs to return because a part needs to be replaced, but the part was not available. Today is 8 September 2026 – 20 days after the service – and I STILL do not know what part needs to be replaced or whether the vehicle is safe to drive in its current condition. I need very basic but important information: What part needs to be replaced? What is actually wrong with it? How urgent is the replacement? Is the vehicle safe to drive as it is? Can it safely be driven long distances? When will the part be available? When can the vehicle be booked in for the repair? After the initial poor experience, I lodged a complaint. Grant eventually contacted me on 24 August 2026 and advised that he would investigate the matter and come back to me. It is now 8 September 2026. That is 15 days since Grant's call, and I have received no feedback, no email, no follow-up call and no answers regarding the vehicle. The irony is that one of my original complaints was specifically about the lack of communication and follow-up. Unfortunately, the handling of the complaint has demonstrated exactly the same problem. I previously dealt with Asanda at Toyota Kuils River and received a completely different level of service and communication. At this point, I am no longer looking for someone to phone me and say they will "look into it". I need NMI Toyota Kuils River to provide an actual answer regarding what part needs replacing and, most importantly, whether this Land Cruiser is safe to drive. Twenty days after the service, I do not think that is an unreasonable expectation from a Toyota dealership.

Declining Standards and Horrific Customer Service
Dear [Management Team / Ford South Africa / Relevant Recipient], I am compelled to formally express my deep frustration and disappointment with the level of service I have received from Ford Tygervalley. The quality of service at Ford Tygervalley has gone completely down the drain. My recent experience with Ford, under the leadership of Mr Angus Peens, has been nothing short of horrible. What should be a simple vehicle service has turned into an exhausting and deeply frustrating ordeal. My vehicle was first booked in for service on 4 February 2026 under Booking ***. The vehicle remained at the dealership for 3 days, yet no repairs were done. It was then booked in again on 1 April 2026, and to date, the matter remains unresolved. The level of professionalism and basic business etiquette at this branch appears to no longer exist. Communication between the various teams and departments is poor to the point of being non-existent. It is almost impossible to get a straight answer from anyone — whether from the switchboard, consultants, or even management. This is unacceptable for a dealership representing a brand such as Ford. What is even more concerning is that this does not appear to be an isolated incident. I have personally observed other customers leaving the dealership visibly frustrated by the same poor standard of service. This points to a much bigger management and operational problem at the branch. Ford Tygervalley is a well-known institution, and it is disappointing to see it being undermined by what appears to be poor leadership, lack of accountability, and mismanagement. If this continues, loyal customers will be left with no option but to take their vehicles elsewhere, including branches such as Ford N1 City, simply to receive the service and professionalism they expect and deserve. I believe urgent intervention is needed to protect the reputation of this dealership and restore customer confidence. I therefore request that this complaint be taken seriously and escalated to the appropriate level for immediate attention. I trust that this matter will receive the urgent response it deserves. Regards,

No word and honour
I had a very disappointing experience dealing with this group regarding a 2023 BMW M4. I contacted them immediately after the vehicle was listed on AutoTrader, while I was already at another dealership about to purchase a similar car. I spoke to a salesperson (Ranjith) and explained that although I was getting a better price elsewhere, I preferred their vehicle due to the colour. I asked if they could consider a discount of around R40,000 and made it clear I was ready to place a deposit immediately to secure the car. Instead of allowing me to secure the vehicle, I was told to wait until Monday so management could approve the deal. I specifically asked them not to sell the car, and I was reassured that it would be fine and that I would be assisted first. On Monday, I was suddenly told the car had “mechanical damage” and was sent to BMW for repairs. I accepted this and confirmed I was still interested. However, I was then told there were multiple other buyers and even higher offers being considered. This directly contradicts what I was told initially — that I was the first serious buyer. Had I been told there were other interested parties, I would have immediately paid a deposit and secured the vehicle. The situation only became more concerning when it was imp**** that the vehicle might go to someone offering more than the listed price, despite my prior agreement and willingness to proceed at the agreed figure. Overall, this experience felt extremely unprofessional and lacking in transparency. It raises serious concerns about how this group handles listings, customer commitments, and pricing integrity. I have bought cars within this group before, but this experience has significantly damaged my trust. I would strongly caution other buyers to secure vehicles immediately, as verbal commitments and assurances appear to carry little weight.

Mr
I dropped off the bakkie, after booking it 3 days in advance I arrived at Isuzu service center no one payed me any attention, security personal just instructed me to leave the key inside, I didnt do a pre inspection like most of the isuzu dealerships I've visited, I asked for a lift to get to work and was dismissed by a representative of isuzu NMI leaving me stranded with no Uber option, the transport driver complained that it's only time for customer pick ups not drop offs this was at 14:00 when they close at 17:00, in short I'm not considering personally owning this bakkie any more imagine getting this treatment when you parting with 10K plus per month and they can't be bothered to assist you to the nearest taxi rank at best
