Useless technical assistance

After having intermittent connectivity issues for days, the responses via email just mentions resetting routers and that they can reset the SIM, which they and I did without success. When phoning in to get assistance I was told that no assistance can be given and no call logged with MTN if I don't have an actual LAN cable (I connect with wifi and have been for 2 years) to run an intermittent ping, no other assistance is given, just passing the buck, useless assistance, now still stuck during work hours with no connection.
