Unhelpful and rude.
I'm going to try to keep this short, so suffice it to say that this is going to be a simplification of the experience I've had:
I've had problems with Axxess since I first started with them years ago. I started out with an ADSL line which was... problematic, to put it very mildly. It was incredibly erratic, disconnected whenever it wanted to, and even when it was connected, it struggled to remain consistent in terms of the actual service being provided (frequent lag spikes, packet loss etc.). I was told that upgrading to a fibre line would fix my problems with regards to the connectivity issues, and that it was more reliable and stable. I was unable to do so at the time and had to deal with this company on an almost weekly basis. I found them to be utterly clueless and unhelpful, and some were down-right rude. I have had them slam the phone down on me more than once, despite me being perfectly pleasant to them at all times, which, given that they claim to be recording all conversations, they can presumably confirm for themselves.
Skip to several years later, and I've finally upgraded to a fibre line, but alas, some problems still persist! While the line is stable in the sense that it doesn't randomly disconnect for no reason, it still has lag and ping issues. I play online computer games in my free time, and the games are quite literally unplayable in this state.
I phoned them earlier this evening, and the fellow on the other end told me to take pictures of the problem. Specifically, I was told to send them screenshots of my "ping to the server of the game I was trying to connect to" (or something?). I have very limited knowledge about computers outside of using them as a tool for business or recreation, but this guy seemed to think I should just know how to do whatever it was he was asking me as if by magic. I asked him (politely) to explain how to do it and where to find this game server, and he slammed the phone down in my ear. Again, this is not the first time this has happened. I've also had them audibly and loudly sigh into my ear when I tell them I don't understand some complex procedure they want me to perform (on DOS of all things! As if it's somehow my business to know how to do these things without being told). If you hate your customers so much and think they are idiots because they don't know YOUR job, maybe you shouldn't be in customer relations?
This was the last straw. I'm fed up with these useless people, and that is the reason for my review, such as it is.
