Price increase after 21/2 months

I recently opened contract for 20/20line supp**** own router ftth.everything is perfect but from December till now no problem month to month contract out of the blue price has gone up R40 after 2 and half months is this legal or can they do it..They say you can only cancel after 3 months otherwise you will charged with instulation
