Overdue line move

I requested that my line be cancelled in September then I was advised that it would be wise to rather move my line. Til now, I have been sent from pillar to post as I still don’t have my wifi connected at my new residence and I am now being told to cancel the line and open a new one, all while still not having any internet that I am paying for.
