NO FREE ADSL LOCKDOWN UPGRADE BY AXXESS AS WAS ANNOUNCED?

I was inquiring about the free ADSL lockdown line speed upgrade that was announced by Axxess and received the following response:

Free speed upgrades were completed on the 10 May 2020 by Telkom and not everyone got received this deal due to capacity issues and network constraints on the ADSL exchange from Telkom's end. We profusely apologies for any inconvenience caused Regards,

I just confirmed and according to the Telkom website, my present location is capable to handle up to 10Mbps!

According to the Axxess website, I can still upgrade to a 10Mbps line speed, at a cost!

So yes, understandably, I'm not a happy long time customer!
