NO Axxess + Telkom activation

I have ordered a data + line from Axxess and I have been waiting forever the have it activated. I have setup everything and all I need is for my adsl line to be activated. Why is this taking forever? It does not involve installing a new line. Other companies can have their lines activated in 24 hours this is not great service.

Hi Bongani

We see that you ordered your line from us around 13h00 on the 22nd of August, only . Activation of the DSL service on a line can take anything between 2-14 days to complete under normal circumstances. Your order has been submitted to Telkom and we are awaiting the activation from their side.

Telkom has completed the order on their side. So what is taking you so long?

After they have completed the line installation, we order the DSL Line activation from them. They need to activate your line for DSL, this might mean that they need to send a tech out to your local axchange in order for them to go and physically connect your line to a specific port.

I received the message below and now I'm being directed back and forth between you and Telkom. What is difficult? You said you would handle Telkom so please handle it! This is extremely unprofessional.

"Hi bongzlive,

Your ISP will need to escalate from their side if this is the case. They should be fully aware of any process related to ADSL wholesale services"

Hi Bongani

We are handling this for you, you placed the order 2 days ago, we let you know earlier that it takes between 2 and 14 days to activate. This is the normal procedure that is being followed.

Telkom says the order is in your hands, and that it is your responsibility to convert the line. Why do you keep saying that they need to send a technician!!? If you can't do it then let me know so I can use another ISP. The line is installed already I don't know why you mention that in your message above. I'm getting really fed up with Axxess right now!!
