Axxess month-to-month comes with a six month minimum stay or they penalize you??

Just switched recently to Axxess from another ISP and the quality of my internet service is pathetic. I work from home and since switching to Axxess I cannot sustain a remote desktop connection to server I manage on behalf of my employer. I had other complaints with my previous ISP, but I must compliment them and say this never happened in the 14 months I worked from while using their service. It started the moment I witched. Tried to cancel as per the conditions which states that is is purely a month to month agreement and not a term contract. Now they want to charge a cancellation fee should you wish to leave in less than six months. It is quite clear way there are so many other complaints on HelloPeter.
