Axxess Lines department is the pits

September the 1st I registered for the service, I already had a router. On the 2nd I received an invoice to pay as "the service had been activated". However, only on the 8th an Openserve technician came out for installation. Tried to connect my router, to my nightmare, turned out it was incorrect. Went to all Telkom shops and Game in my nearby but could not get the right router. Eventually, I asked to have the service cancelled until I have the right fitting router.

On the 18th of this month, Nov, I bought a router, called& emailed axxess enquiring about reactivation. I was told to just pay R172 pro-rata. Paid immediately, sent P.O.P and and I received a confirmation sms. I was advised that I need to authenticate my router. I called on the 19th, laid my story about what had happened from September. I was on the phone for more than 45mins trying to "authenticate" the router, rebooting several times until the lady on the other side asked for the land line number. Only then she "picked up" that the number had been deactivated, and that I will have to contact the lines department the following Monday to follow up on the reactivation of my line. I received an email with the credit note, no communication regarding activation/reinstating of the line. Last Thursday, 25 Nov, I received a message saying that activation of my line has been completed. I tried to authenticate the router again, but ofcourse it does not work and they debited from the credit balance. I have been calling every second day with the hope that the lines department will care and give me a clear answer as to when exactly will my line be reactivated but I'm being sent back and forth, Nkosikhona said it can take 4 weeks, which does not make sense. I asked to speak to a supervisor but everyone keep saying Gershan will call back.

How difficult can it be to give clear answer to the clients or call them?
