Axxess ISP Be Aware!!!
(BE AWARE AXXESS!!!)Axxess very deceptive Marketing
Signed up for Fibre services in April 2022 from Axxess on the metrofibre line. Offer advertised at R395.00 pm for 25mb/25mb line which seemed affordable and within budget.
Received and invoice in June informing me the services I had signed up for was on a promotional price at R395.00 and my renewal fee would now be R695.00 going forward. The 25mb/25mb Fibre line is not available anymore and now it becomes a 50mb/50mb Fibre line to my surprise this is not what I had Signed up for. If this was advertised clearly from the start I would not have signed up for these services. So these ISP's can just change services as they please and as consumers we are meant to accept this why are they not held to account. If I am the only customer who signed up for this particular package and feels like they are being held at gun point to continue with their services and be ****** like this please help me see the fairness from this ISP.
I then call in to speak to an agent in the accounts department to which I'm treated in a unfriendly customer approach from agents at service center thought I was calling into a circus. I'm then told everything was detailed in the terms and conditions, Seems there are very different terms and conditions I had read. My question to these ISPs is which customer in their right mind would sign up for Fibre services at R395.00 a month then after two months be willing to be charged R695.00 pm, This is completely out of my affordability why on earth would I want to use Fibre services for two months at a discounted promotional price.
Now I am required to give one months notice to cancel the services and pay a cancelation fee of R999.00. This is ****************. It baffles me as a consumer that Axxess can be in business for 25 years with such tactics.
The Founder should have just stayed in his one bedroom flat back in 1997 and avoided offering customers these deceptive Marketing strategies all together. I see why 2017 was the last time they were awarded ISP of the year. This company stinks in my opinion if this is how they go about their business.
