Axxess is not the solution to Telkom ADSL problems

Since switching my ADSL line from Telkom to Axxess in the hope of receiving better connection and service, I have been battling to get a stable ADSL connection. They appear to have no control over being able to provide a better connection or stable network as alluded to in the marketing propaganda they feed to the public. I was in fact told by one of the call centre agents that they cannot contact Telkom technicians after hours over the weekend despite my line being unstable at speeds ranging from 0 to 2,09 Mbps (I have records of the speed tests I have conducted). As a result of this I was unable to view any of the sport on Saturday. I may as well have stayed with Telkom for non-existent ADSL connection and service. I do not recommend that any person be in a hurry to look at Axxess as an alternative service provider. They seem to be held hostage by the Telkom monopoly and do not appear to be able do anything to address Telkom related issues. If it were not for the fact that there is no fiber coverage in my area I would have moved from Axxess DSL and cancelled the LTE line I have with them just because they don't appear to be adept at assisting to fix the issues I have with the ADSL line. If you want to avoid frustration, do not switch to Axxess DSL. Beside the issues with the ADSL line I have also experienced problems with their accounts department. Unfortunately the space to list my frustration with Axxess is limited.
