I app**** for the car on Auto trader. They called me the next day and asked for a bunch of information. After that, I struggled to get any information out of them for a week. Then I emailed the support line. Later that day, they called me and said that I was approved and just needed to wait and be patient for a bit. That was on a Thursday. The following Wednesday, the car was sold? This is horrible service, and I would advise anyone to stay far away!

STAY AWAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. VERY QUICK TO DO THE SALE AND TAKE YOUR MOENY, BUT THE AFTER SALE SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT. EMPY PROMISE AFTER EMPTY PROMISE. PLEASE NOTE WE PAID FOR THE REGISTRATION AND LICENCE PLATES AND IS STILL WAITING. THE DEALERSHIP LOST THE BOOK - AFTER SAYING IT IS IN THE CAR. THE CAR IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY AND NEEDS TO BE SERVICED. THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL. YOU DESERVE NEGATIVE STARS.

I bought a Car Hyundai Elantra TGDI in January 2023,there were defects that I only discovered latter but the worst was realising that the spare wheel was for a Ford instead and went there to let them know only to be told I should have checked which found it odd because it seems like it was a deliberate action,I only found out the day I had a tyre puncture I am scared of driving long distance should I have a tyre puncture because I can't find the spare wheel anywhere else. There was a representation during the acquisition period.

I bought my car from Autoworld Wonderboom on the 20th of September after finding it on AutoTrader. From Wendy (I stand corrected on the name). From the start, the experience has been TERRIBLE. I was told my spare key would be taken out of the safe by Monday, and that my licence disk and number plate would be ready within 7–14 business days. It’s now been weeks, and was still waiting (16 Oct). I’ve tried calling countless times — no one ever answers. I’ve sent multiple messages and only get replies after double-texting, always with the same response: “We will let you know.” But nothing ever happens. I have called close to 30 times before a call was answered My temporary licence has already expired, and my insurance company urgently needs my licence disk to keep my policy active. This whole situation has been stressful, time-consuming, and completely unprofessional. I also read in other reviews that they don’t answer calls if they recognize your number — and sadly, I can confirm this is true. It’s shocking that a dealership operates this way. I eventually contacted AutoTrader to inform them of the situation, since Autoworld advertises on their website. Only after that did my calls finally get answered, and I received the licence disk and number plate that I paid for weeks ago after they said it could only take up to 14 days. After I reported the issue, Richard from Autoworld contacted me and was very helpful in resolving everything. I appreciate his assistance — but it’s unfortunate that it took a complaint for things to finally get sorted out. Judging by the number of similar complaints online, this seems to be an ongoing issue. I strongly advise anyone thinking of buying from Autoworld Wonderboom to be very cautious.
