Not impressed with lady who was managing bookings, taking money, at Audi Pinetown on 19 Oc 2026

Myvreview only applies to the lady at bookings, taking money, at Audi Pinetown. It does not apply to Brett who "manages" my Audi and is wonderful. It does not apply to spare parts staff, or service staff, only her. She is slow, unfriendly and, sad to say, unfortunately, I cannot say one good thing to recommend her during this visit. I have a terrible surname and cracked a joke but I dont think she even managed a smile. We visited Audi Pinetown on Monday 19 October at about 11.20 thereabouts and the service provided by her left a lot to

Audi Financial Service is a ****

I bought an Audi A4 using Audi Financial service and they are a ****. I asked for a settlement quote that I was given and I paid using that amount after 3 days they were saying I am owing them R2294.03 after I paid them more than R200 000k. I spoke to Megan from their call center and she is pathetic.

Horrific support and service experience

3 months later same issue with no willingness from Audi to help get the issue resolved. Original issue -> https://share.google/fGTaP8TiDz7rZCXf4 Since then I have shown the issue to multiple people and "specialists" Your technical team failed to replicate the problem not that the problem could not be replicated. It's time Audi expect failure and ask for help from a broader group of experts. This is a direct result of the arrogance displayed from your flying technician. I've shown many people the issue with car but it is due to poor testing strategy and a lack of customer service that they are able to mimic the issue. A customer should not be involved to the level I am to get this over the line. The effort and commitment from Audi is beyond shocking. The interaction has open the question of is Audi the premium brand it is meant to be and are the staff appropriately trained to work with the vechiles.

Poor Service from Audi SA and Audi East London

2012 Audi Q5 – Charged R30,000 for Repairs Despite Evidence of Severe Internal Gearbox Failure I am extremely disappointed with the way my matter has been handled by Audi Centre East London and Audi South Africa. I took my 2012 Audi Q5 to Audi Centre East London after a gearbox warning light appeared. I was informed that Audi follows an approved diagnostic and repair process for this type of fault. According to Audi, the first step is a mechatronic repair, which includes draining and inspecting the gearbox oil. During this process, Audi's own diagnosis confirmed excessive metallic contamination (metal shavings) in the gearbox oil, severe clutch wear, and internal gearbox damage. Following consultation with Audi South Africa, the dealership concluded that the gearbox required complete replacement. Despite these findings, Audi proceeded with the mechatronic repair, gearbox oil replacement and related work at a cost of approximately R30,000. While replacing the contaminated oil removed the visible contamination, it did not and could not address the underlying internal gearbox damage already identified in Audi's diagnosis. My complaint is not that Audi failed to follow its internal repair process. My concern is that once severe internal gearbox damage had been confirmed, continuing with further repairs offered little realistic prospect of resolving the underlying fault and should have been halted. After the repairs were completed, Audi informed me that the gearbox still required replacement at an estimated cost of approximately R500,000. This was later reduced to around R300,000, but both amounts far exceed the retail value of the vehicle, which is approximately R110,000. Unable to afford a replacement gearbox, I obtained an independent assessment from another gearbox specialist. Their findings confirmed clutch failure, internal gearbox wear consistent with metal contamination, and the need for a major gearbox repair or rebuild, effectively validating Audi's original diagnosis. After 6–8 weeks of engagement with Audi Centre East London and Audi South Africa, I received their final response refusing my request for a refund on the basis that labour was performed and parts were fitted. I do not dispute that work was carried out. My concern is whether it is reasonable to charge a customer approximately R30,000 for repairs after severe internal gearbox damage had already been identified, particularly when those repairs neither addressed nor could resolve the underlying failure. As a long-standing Audi owner, I expected better customer care and a solution that reflected the realities of the diagnosis. I hope Audi South Africa will reconsider its position and resolve this matter fairly.

Huge appreciation for excellent customer service

I want to extend my gratitude to CIC team, especially their professional competent consultants Thembela for being kind, empathy and understanding. She tirelessly made an effort in making a follow-up on the back order parts that were delaying the process of car mechanic completion. Thank you Thembela for instilling hope and the level of respect you show to your work and clients. God bless your heart🙏

Premium Vehicle, Non-Premium Support: My Experience with Audi South Africa

Over the past few months, I have experienced what can only be described as shocking customer service, support enablement, and escalation management from Audi South Africa and Audi Bryanston regarding what should be treated with care and serious concern. My vehicle was initially taken to Audi Bryanston due to persistent squeaking and grinding sounds coming from the braking system. After investigation, I was informed that the brake pads were the issue. The pads were replaced, and I was assured the problem had been resolved. Less than 24 hours later, the exact same sounds returned. The vehicle was then taken back for additional work and further investigation. Despite this work, the issue still persisted. Audi Bryanston then escalated the matter to a so-called “specialist flying technician” brought in to assess the vehicle. His conclusion? “Nothing is wrong with the car” because he could not reproduce the sound. Ironically, when I collected the vehicle, I reproduced the issue myself within 8km of driving. The Service Manager personally acknowledged that something was clearly wrong with the braking system. This immediately raised concerns around the quality and credibility of the specialist assessment that had delayed progress for weeks. What is even more concerning is the operational model behind this process. I was informed that any meaningful corrective action or further technical recommendations could only be approved or actioned by this single specialist technician. Apparently, there is only ONE individual in the entire country capable of authorising or driving these investigations. Because of this bottleneck, I was told I would need to wait another month for him to return and reassess the vehicle after his failed initial assessment. A month-long delay for a braking system concern is simply unacceptable from both a customer safety and operational perspective. I escalated the matter to Audi South Africa in the hope that they would: • Enable the dealership with greater autonomy to investigate and resolve the issue • Address the obvious single point of failure in their support model • Provide meaningful escalation support and customer communication Instead, over a month later, I am still sitting with no actionable resolution. My case (***5), handled by Thembela, has repeatedly been delayed despite multiple self-committed deadlines and assurances that feedback and Audi SA’s formal stance would be provided. To date, every promised delivery timeline has been missed. Numerous escalation attempts through colleagues, emails, and follow-ups have yielded little to no action. This experience has exposed major concerns around: • Customer communication and accountability • Escalation management processes • Technical support enablement • Single-key-man dependency risks • Overall customer-centricity within Audi SA support structures As a long-standing believer in premium brands delivering premium service, this experience has been deeply disappointing. Customers should not have to fight this hard to get a potentially safety-related issue properly investigated.
