Amobia, Worst ISP

<p>I have made the unfortunate mistake of leaving Telkom and choosing Amobia as my new ISP. Their Sales and Installation is great but as soon as its installed your problems begin. I chose the 6Mb download and 1 Mb upload uncapped solution. I have to contact the Support Dept at least twice a week to complain about my slow connection and every single time I've contacted them they have said yes they can see there is lag on my connection, they will need to investigate it. I live in a very quiet area in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town and I have direct line of sight from any point of my house to the tower where my access point is connecting to. Three and a half weeks ago Amobia had to do maintenance on the tower I connect to. I didn’t have internet for 5 days as they were struggling to fix an issue with the tower. Eventually they were able to fix the issue at the tower but they said they had to come out to my house to realign my antenna. Its been two and a half weeks and still no one has been out. They have made 3 appointments so far but every time they just don’t pitch. I have never received such terrible service in my life before. Really makes me wish I could move back to Telkom, at least there I had a stable connection.</p> <p>If you are thinking of using Amobia as your ISP, DON”T DO IT!!!</p>
