Amobia - Pay now, service later? REALLY, in SA?

<p>So I called to find out about Amobia's service offerings. I must say, their deals are catchy from far, but when you get into the nitty gritties one realises it can never be, especially in the current SAn space. Tp break it down to you:</p> <p>*There have two installation prices (R1999+R600router and R2999+999router)</p> <p>*You can only know which one will work for you after they send out their techicians (fair enough), but you must 1st sign-up for the technicians to be sent to your place (FORCING YOU TO COMMIT TO AT LEAST ONE INSTALLATION AGREEMENT)</p> <p>*Even if you tell them in advance you cannot AFFORD the 2nd option, you are already binded after signing those documents (I DO NOT CARE IF THEY GIVE YOU 30days, YOU ARE STILL BINDED), otherwise you will be liable for R500 "Call-Out" Fee.</p> <p> </p> <p>Lets put this as an example, 2 cars available on the market, Golf TSi & Golf R. You know you can afford the TSi, but the dealer tells you that, you first have to COMMIT in the purchase, then they will send out people to check your road conditions, after that tell you which option to go for, EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE SAID YOU KNOW YOU CAN AFFORD THE TSi. This is new SA, how can we really operate like this???</p> <p> </p> <p>Can the COMPETITORS PLEASE STAND UP!!!</p>
