You like ***** and Non-Service? Afrihost has you covered.

Signed up for a fibre connection with Afrihost beginning February 2018. I was told the installation could take two or three weeks, granted the OpenServe tech does his thing in accordance with this timeframe. I received the D-Link DIR 825 router, which was purchased from Afrihost at R1000 added to the initial cost, a week after their "services" were contracted. On the 22nd of February, after having struggled with OpenServe to finish the Fibre line installation, I finally got it sorted. The OpenServe employee who did the installation informed me that the router was missing some or other "Configuration Card", i look through the manual and other literature supp**** to see such an item listed along the "Product supp**** with" list...but there's no card. Off he goes and i think nothing of it,the next day Afrihost messages me that the line is now active and so on. I try to use the internet and a message pops up that i must log in to the router and setup the system before i can access the internet. I follow the onscreen prompts to the D-Link page where i put in the factory Username and Password, Admin and admin...the D-Link Menu screen flashes for about a second and goes right back to the login page. The Opneserve tech came back that same day and tried another router he had with him and it worked just fine. I contact Afrihost, after waiting 28 minutes in a queue I inform them of this issue. After going through the ****** book with the tech he concluded that the router must be faulty...yes, I wasted 42 minutes of airtime to hear what i already knew but okay it's not his fault. The tech says the router will need to be replaced and that it would take roughly 2-3 weeks...that means that I will be without internet (Using cell data to write this BTW) for two months! I got an email today from Afrihost which blabbered on about how the router exchange process is complicated and that it would take 2-3 weeks to fetch the faulty router, it would then go under inspection to asses the fault/if any. After their check is complete and the router is found faulty or fine, they send it back or a new one which will also take 2-3 weeks and you are charged a "call-out" fee for the dispatch and reception of the router in question...so now were at a total of three and a half months without internet if I'm keeping score. The real low-blow came when i saw that I was charged for February and already for March as if I have a connection and am using the internet! Their own web page states that you don't pay a cent until you get access to the internet, which I don't have.

I know they don't care and certainly don't respond to or read these reviews, so let this be warning to any potential Afrihost client.
