Worst service delivery ever with only empty promisses and no feedback

I signed up for a new fibre service with Afrihost on 16 October, was told it would take max 2 weeks to get everything up and running. 3 weeks later (2 Nov) someone finally came out to do the fibre installation. I don't actually have a problem with that but if I knew the headache that would follow after that I would never have even considered signing up with them. I cancelled my previous internet provider for the end of October as I was assured that I would be up with them on the 2nd when they came and did the setup, by about 2pm on Monday 2nd November my line was activated and I was able to get onto the internet. But my joy was short lived as at about 5pm that same day my connection went down and the broadband light started flashing red on the fibre box. I contacted the service centre and was told to give till the next day as the activation sometimes takes a few hours, which confused me a bit as it was already activated and I was able to use it for a short time but I did as was instructed. The next day still no service, and I contacted the service centre again and was told they will log a ticket and get back to me by that afternoon. I got an SMS that evening saying that they cannot find the error and a technician will be contacting me shortly to arrange for them to come to my premises to look at the line and the installation. No one ever got back to me after that and I had to contact them again the next day to follow up. Every day now for 9 days I keep hearing there is no feedback as yet they are waiting for feedback and it’s been escalated and each time I get told I will be getting feedback by the end of the day and yet not once has anyone contacted me to provide feedback each and every time I have to follow up. And yet the very same day (2 Nov) I got an email stating congratulations your line is now active we will be billing you shortly, which they very promptly did 2 days later. It seems they are very quick and efficient when taking a client’s money but at nothing else.
