Why do the clients carry the costs?

Having been with Afrihost for some time now, the day has finally arrived to move to a different ISP (hopefully one that gives a **** about its clients).

Afrihost seems to be more interested in growing their client base (even when they cannot support more clients), than in providing the service clients pay for. Yet again it appears that we have to deal with high package loss, high ping rates and constant disconnects, as Afrihost has more clients than their system can handle!!

Why are existing loyal clients being penalized via very poor internet performance, when Afrihost is to blame for taking on more than they can handle?

Please feel free to reply with the usual spin doctor replies, blaming Telkom etc - my ping plotter test clearly reflect that when I switch over to a WebAfrica account, all my internet problems disappear.

As noted in my fault logs to your Support folk - it is time for me to move on to a different ISP.

I hope you sort your greed for profits over client service out soon and revert back to being one of the decent ISP's out there.

Hello igoriii,

Thanks for taking our call earlier, sincerely sorry to hear that you're leaving us :(
As discussed, we know that our network performance isn't where it should be, and we're working really hard on resolving that.

We've logged a credit to your account so when you do decide to reactivate your current data package the first month will be free.

We wish you the best of luck going forward.

Regards
The Afrihost team
