When will things change for the better?
Indicative of the pathetic service, lethargy and no-care attitude of service suppliers in our country, Afrihost run true to form. Only the Accounts department perform perfectly to take my money.

To run my home-based business, I have a 4meg line and Afrihost supplies internet and manage the DSL line so the buck does not get passed between Telkom and Afrihost on faults. But there never seems to be a time when I can effectively use the service I pay for. I don't remember ever running a speed test which actually showed \4 meg".
\""Caller no 65\"" on Friday"

10 Feb 2015, 10:43Hello RitaBotha,
We apologise for the problems you have had with your DSL line.
As you may know, the DSL infrastructure in South Africa is managed and owned by Telkom. Us managing your line means that we log the fault with Telkom and follow up with them once a fault has been logged. Telkom accesses the fault logged and then decides on how to proceed with a fault - either send a tech to fix it or close the fault as resolved.
We apologise that the fault was closed previously without a resolution. We see that a new fault has been logged. We are sorry to have disappointed you with our service. Our team will be in touch to assist with your query.
Regards
The Afrihost Team
