Whatsapp channel is pointless

Relating to whatsapp agent Thabisile N and their supervisor.

The whatsapp channel agents are utterly useless and cannot assist beyond their troubleshooting scripts. Afrihost, you rather invest in Bot technology and replace these agents, you will save money and clients.

3days ago I upgraded my line from 10mbps to 25mbps. Afrihost has since debitted my account but line speed remains the same. I've contacted the whatsapp channel for assistance via agent Thabisile N. They ran me through the normal troubleshooting steps however one step required me to connect from the ONT box to laptop or PC. I advised the agent that I cannot as i do not have a laptop or PC and unable to borrow to do this step. I repeatedly advised the agent of this and the agent repeatedly said I need to do it to move forward as per their supervisors instructions and that they cannot even send out technicians until this step is completed.

WTH? So you telling me that you can take my money but not assist me further? Must all afrihost customers ensure that they purchase a pc before using your services? Must I go out a buy a laptop just to help you troubleshoot this problem?

I've since used the call me back feature and within 5minutes the agent Fortune was able to diagnose the problem and escalated to the technicians to resolve.

Now I wait...
