Waiting a week to be connected

So far I am not impressed with Afrihost, waited days for them to tell me that my line was not released by my previous ISP, then eventually it was released and I made payment on the 29/07..A week later still not connected.They blaming Vuma and all I want is internet,which I paid for, can someone please sort this out at Afrihost in reading.
