Very poor customer service and follow-up

Poor customer service and no follow-up. Afrihost is happy to take money for service they don't provide.

We bought a rooter and data package online on Afrihost.com. We requested that the rooter be delivered to our site in Middelburg. However, you insisted that we receive the rooter in JHB. When the deliveryman arrived, he did not want to give us the rooter. He claimed that the name on the ID and the person who received the delivery was not the same. On the delivery paperwork it stated the name my nick name (as per my account) and on my ID it states my full family/birth names. We explained the difference between family name and calling name, but the delivery man refused to hand over the product.

The problem we have is that no one from Afrihost has called to follow-up on this situation. They were happy to take our money for November and for a service that we have not received or rooter. When we called the call center the sales option refused to help and said we had to speak to the technical support. In general this is very poor customer service and completely unacceptable.

To be honest we as a business is very disappointed!!!
