These guys are *******!

IN JUST OVER 12 MONTHS THESE GUYS MADE R4616 JUST FROM ME AND THEY ARE NOW *****ING FROM ME AS WELL. I HAVE BEEN A CLIENT FOR OVER 5 YEARS OF AFRIHOST AND THEIR SERVICE GETS WORSE AND WORSE THE LONGER I STAY WITH THEM SO I HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL ALL MY WEBSITES WITH THEM AND THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE NOW DOING...

Cancelled a domain renewal 3 months ago via their clientzone website and all was confirmed and monthly they reversed and credited the domain renewal as they invoice for it 3 months early every year (Which I am not sure why they claim it is annual but invoice you every 9 months for the renewal).

So this month they decided not to reverse as it was the final month where it was supposed to be cancelled as notice was given on the hosting services and the renewal of the domain.

First I spoke to a Mali on Whatsapp who confirmed that the domain was set to be cancelled on the 31st July 2022 and they will not charge me the renewal. Then I spoke to Gabsile on Whatsapp who were not helpful at all. Claiming that I have already logged a ticket with accounts that I should just wait for reply after I sent him their reply screenshots that I will not be refunded, then he said that because I only cancelled in June that it did not give them the month's notice so I am still liable for the yearly domain, but I have proof that all has been cancelled in April already.

Support@Afrihost e-mailed me saying that they will not refund or credit my account as the renewal was automated even though I had requested to cancel everything.

BE CAREFUL OF THESE GUYS, THEY LIE AND THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON AROUND THEM AND TRY EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO SQUEEZE EVERY LAST CENT OUT OF YOU.
