The worst internet connection imaginable from Afrihost

I've been trying for more than a month to sort out my fixed wireless connectivity at home - I have download speeds of 0.55 mbpps today and it doe snot even register the uploads. The issue has been escalated to RAIN twice, I am call-centre and email agent number 7 I think, and I can't even use the Afrihost chat function. Realistically, I might need to work from home soon with the Covid-19 developments - how exactly am I supposed to do that with this connection?
