Terrible speed - terrible service all for a high price

I was so happy with Afrihost in the beginning when i joined over 5 years ago. BUT my opinion has drastically changed. Specifically the last 6 weeks have been a nightmare! I pay for a 50Mbps pure uncapped fibre inside a complex in Midrand but eg. average: 0.7Mpbs download and 11.04 upload. I never had this problem before. I and my nephew have contacted Afrihost and all we get is the run around and plenty of painful excuses. My point is that everything has been fine for years - i stay in the same place - NOTHING has changed but now i get terrible speed - terrible service and i am paying a fortune for the pleasure of not even being able to stream a course that i am studying, or play a game without major buffering. I have had it!!!! I am aware that there is a general problem in SA with regards to YouTube but i don't use a lot of Youtube. I stream courses that i am studying and my nephew is a gamer.It is time to think of moving to another company that cares about me. !!!!Sonja Bense AccA***7
