Terrible Service & Unauthorised Charges — Afrihost is Running a ****!

I’ve had an absolutely terrible experience with Afrihost. I signed up for their fibre service which was supposed to include free installation, but I was charged for it anyway. When I queried this, I was told it was “a mistake” yet the charge was never reversed into my bank account. To make matters worse, they also billed me a pro-rata fee for a router that never even connected to my home. After more than 10 days of back-and-forth trying to sort out their mess, I decided to cancel the service altogether. That’s when Afrihost showed their true colours they informed me that I would have to pay a cancellation fee and that the cancellation would only take effect on 28 February 2026, meaning they plan to charge me for another full month even though the router has already been returned and no service was ever provided. This company is dishonest and exploitative. They hide behind “system errors” and “policy terms” to take money from customers for services they never delivered. It feels like a ****, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Afrihost at all costs. Afrihost, you’ve lost my trust completely.
