Terrible response times(If any at all)

I am actually very sad to be posting a complaint about Afrihost, as I have been with them for years and have had nothing but joy. However, over the past few weeks I have been getting some HORRIBLE response times. I sent a mail regarding hosting issues, and only got a reply 2 weeks later after multiple emails(Sure I could have phoned, but I preferred to send mails - So perhaps my own fault), it took multiple emails and 13 days to get a response to one email. I have now sent a mail 2 days ago regarding hosting that was in arrears that is now settled and need the domain re-activated - However, no reply. I have tried the online chat, but wow, it takes over an hour to 1. Either connect and obviously I am not at attention waiting as I am working, then they disconnect the chat because I didnt response within 3 minutes, or 2. It just simply does not connect. I will try and phone rather when I have the time, but just wanted to bring this to your attention. I will still always use Afrihost and recommend them, but these types of response times are things that will make people move to other service providers.
