Terrible from Afrihost. No connectivity.

After having a national outage on Tuesday (24 March 2026), to limited access Wednesday as well as limited to NO internet access on Thursday evening right into Friday (27 March 2027), Afrihosts communication on this has been abysmal. First on Tuesday morning at about after 9 they said its been resolved, when it was in fact far from resolved. Whatsapp'ing their helpline takes minimum of 30 minutes to respond, and then they cant even advise you properly - some times they say its resolved, then its not... Same now on Friday morning. Im chatting to someone on whatsapp and they contradicting themselves. Even telling me also my line is working - WHEN IT CLEARLY IS NOT. I had someone at home to check and it didnt, but according to them it is working. But on their network status page it still shows as an issue.

My gripe is I pay R1000 per month for internet access as I work from home (My wife as well). But with poor connectivity since Tuesday I must travel many hours and KMs a day to go to our offices - which is a cost to me that Afrihost will never compensate. My wife cant travel to the office so she is stuck at home with no internet access and cant work at all, unless we buy data for our phones and hotspot our phones which is an additional cost. Please sort this **** out ASAP. Communicate properly. Dont give different stories to different people. In our whatsapp community at home everyone says they get different messages from Afrihost agents, some not even at all.

But you know, they wont get this complaint, and they wont do anything or wont even respond properly...
